This role is for an engineer who prefers to be on the production floor solving real build problems rather than sitting behind a desk. The objective is to take complex, one-of-a-kind equipment builds and transform them into efficient, repeatable, and well-executed processes. The primary challenge will be stabilizing and improving assigned work centers, reducing production disruptions, resolving build issues quickly, and creating clarity where ambiguity exists. The role also involves improving manufacturability and process flow to ensure custom equipment builds meet safety, quality, schedule, and cost expectations. The position is part of a cross-functional manufacturing team supporting large, custom capital equipment builds in a high-mix, low-volume environment, partnering closely with design engineering, supply chain, quality, planning, supervisors, and technicians to ensure effective execution from concept through final integration.
