About The Position

Pall Corporation, a Danaher operating company and a global leader in high-tech filtration, separation, and purification, is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer. This role is crucial for driving improvements in assigned value streams to meet key performance indicators such as Safety, Quality, on-time delivery, lead time reduction, and Productivity. The position is part of the Value Stream leadership team, responsible for daily performance and leading continuous improvement initiatives using LEAN (DBS) tools. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, Aerospace, or related Engineering field.
At least 1 year of relevant working experience.
Experienced in Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), statistical tolerance analysis, functional dimensioning, and tolerance analysis.
Background in complex manufacturing processes and quality systems.
Knowledge of FMEA, DOE, and failure analysis methodologies.
US citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status, or U.S. Government export authorization is required.

Nice To Haves

High-volume manufacturing experience.
Aerospace manufacturing experience.
Hydraulic assembly and test experience.
Experience designing assembly and test tooling using CAD.
Experience implementing automation in assembly and test operations.
Knowledge of GDT, Aerospace Mil-Specifications and Hydraulic Schematics.

Responsibilities

Provide daily technical support to the manufacturing floor by addressing documentation, process, and material flow gaps.
Lead LEAN/DBS implementation through formal and informal Kaizens.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement timely solutions for product and process issues.
Facilitate process mapping to drive continuous improvement and eliminate waste.
Serve as project manager for KPI improvement plans, leading problem-solving, action planning, execution reviews, and sustainment tracking.
Explore advanced technologies to support breakthrough results.
Collaborate with product engineering during design to ensure manufacturability and tooling readiness.
Align supply chain capabilities for successful new design launches.
Develop and document manufacturing processes for new and updated products.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to prioritize projects and recommend equipment or tooling updates.
