About The Position

The Senior Manufacturing Business Leader is accountable for the end-to-end performance of a defined business unit within the plant, leading all aspects of Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC). In this role, you will be responsible for deploying and sustaining lean operating principles and the FLIGHT DECK mindset within the value stream, developing people, standardizing processes, and driving continuous improvement to meet customer, business, and regulatory requirements. As Business Leader, you will lead components manufacturing for rotating parts supporting key engine programs including T700, F404, F414, and CF34. The position provides direct leadership to 8-12 salaried team members and has overall accountability for a total organization of up to 80 employees operating across three shifts in a unionized manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for aligning resources, building frontline leadership capability, and ensuring effective shift-to-shift execution to meet production requirements while maintaining strong labor relations, workforce engagement, and compliance with site, contractual, and regulatory expectations. Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years Manufacturing & Operation Management)
Minimum of 5 years Manufacturing & Operation Management experience

Strong planning, execution, and project management skills, with a focus on delivering results for customers and the business

Responsibilities

Manage an operation, business, unit, or part of a production facility in order to reach defined targets in quality, cost, delivery and safety.
Ensure continuous business improvement according to benchmarks and standards.
Team management of salaried employees. This does not include production supervisors who oversee hourly employees.
Requires specialized knowledge within the function.
Influence the development of strategy for the area of responsibility, including control of resources and influences policy formulation.
Interprets simple internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services.
