We’re looking for a Senior Manager to join our Telecom Consulting team, focused on helping clients solve complex business and technology challenges across transformation strategy, operating model design and large-scale delivery. In this role, you will advise communications service providers on how to modernize their technology landscape, improve customer and employee experiences, and optimize network, product and enterprise operations. You will help clients define transformation roadmaps, shape solution strategies and lead execution across complex, cross-functional programs. You will serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, bringing together strategy, business, technology and delivery teams to solve high-impact challenges across domains such as B/OSS modernization, customer care, service operations, product and offer management, field service, network transformation and revenue management. This is a consulting leadership role for someone who can connect sector insight with practical execution and help clients move from ambition to results.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree; a master’s degree is preferred.
  • Eight or more years of relevant experience in consulting, technology transformation or enterprise change, including significant experience serving telecom clients.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: B/OSS transformation, telecom systems modernization and operating model change; Transformation strategy, business case development and value realization; Systems integration, vendor coordination and complex program delivery; Network transformation, digital operations and customer or service experience improvement; Emerging telecom technologies such as 5G, cloud, AI-enabled operations, APIs and edge services.
  • Strong consulting and leadership skills, including client relationship management, proposal development, executive communication and cross-functional team leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Lead telecom consulting engagements from strategy through execution, with accountability for delivery quality, stakeholder alignment and measurable business outcomes.
  • Advise clients on transformation roadmaps, target operating models, business cases and solution priorities across telecom technology and operations.
  • Guide clients through complex initiatives involving B/OSS transformation, systems integration, network-related change, digital operations and service experience improvement.
  • Manage program economics, governance, risks and team performance across multiple workstreams and client stakeholders.
  • Drive business development through proposal leadership, opportunity shaping, thought leadership and trusted advisor relationship building across priority telecom accounts.
  • Lead engagement delivery and day-to-day management of telecom consulting workstreams.
  • Build and manage senior client relationships, including executive-level interactions and steering committee communications.
  • Contribute to business development through proposals, points of view, pursuits and account expansion opportunities.
  • Collaborate across EY capabilities and alliance teams to bring integrated solutions to clients.
