About The Position

Leads the execution of Walgreens’ Workplace Experience program, ensuring high-quality, seamless workplace environments across the Support Offices and Data Center. Combines strategic leadership with hands-on delivery, using data, stakeholder engagement, and financial insight to optimize services and drive continuous improvement. The role is critical to creating an efficient, engaging workplace aligned with Walgreens’ strategic goals and delivering a strong experience for employees and guests. It also establishes and leads facility operations for the Data Center, overseeing infrastructure management, capital improvements, and the development of scalable processes, tools, and a strong safety culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree and at least 4 years of experience in Facility Services/Property Management OR High School/GED and at least 7 years of experience in Facility Services/Property Management
  • Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.
  • Experience directly managing people including hiring, developing, motivating, and directing people as they work.
  • Experience with MS Office Suite.
  • At least 2 years of experience contributing to financial decisions in the workplace.
  • At least 2 years of direct leadership, indirect leadership and/or cross-functional team leadership.
  • Willing to travel up to/at least 15% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in guest services, reception, or concierge functions.
  • Proficiency in a language(s) other than English

Responsibilities

  • Leads the Facility Operations team and works with peer teams to identify required engineering changes in infrastructure systems, defines project scope, prioritizes projects, schedules, and executes these projects.
  • Makes recommendations, leverages commercial expertise to optimize project design and minimize project duration and cost.
  • Prepares facility operations post-incident reports, root cause analysis, and corrective action plans.
  • Ensures data center operates at maximum operational efficiency, including analyzing existing operating conditions, recommending new technologies, improving overall efficiency and driving cost reduction.
  • Maintains and supports reporting to ensure the data center remains compliant with all government safety and environmental requirements.
  • Develops and executes the Workplace Solutions strategy, ensuring alignment with Walgreens' objectives and best practices.
  • Designs scalable service models and experience offerings for consistency across Support Centers.
  • Oversees workplace programs, including mail logistics, guest experience, office services and events.
  • Ensures service delivery meets quality standards, SLAs, and compliance requirements.
  • Acts as a key liaison for team members, ensuring workplace accommodations and service needs are met.
  • Oversees budgets, drive cost efficiencies, and optimize vendor relationships for high-quality, cost-effective service delivery.
  • Identifies cost-saving opportunities and negotiate vendor contracts to maximize value.
  • Manages Capital projects and outside vendor relationships.
  • Utilizes data analytics and KPIs to measure impact, identify trends, and drive improvements.
