ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a highly-talented Senior Manager to join the Workforce Development team as the overall portfolio lead for our Workforce Development Programs (Customer Facing Associate Mobility, Catalyst, Hiring our Heroes, and Year Up United). This individual will lead a team of program managers to drive a well-managed portfolio of programs prioritizing creating exceptional associate experiences and deep strategic relationships with business partners. This individual will work closely with leaders in our businesses, External Affairs, and our broader Talent Acquisition Organization. The ideal candidate will have a passion for developing early career talent and proven experience leading programs and processes in a well-managed way. They should be excited about building destination roadmaps and influencing strategic decisions using a data-backed approach. This role requires a solution-oriented team player who is comfortable navigating ambiguity, possesses excellent communication skills, and has a proven track record of great people leadership. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Military Experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in Human Resources
  • At least 5 years of program management, client facing, or consulting experience, or a combination
  • At least 5 years of experience in an executive strategy role
  • At least 5 years of people management experience
  • Tech-Forward & AI Proficient: You are deeply engaged in the evolving technology landscape and proficient in the use of LLMs and general AI assistants (e.g., Google Gemini) to drive personal and team productivity.
  • Strategic & Pragmatic Balance: You possess the unique ability to balance forward-thinking strategy with relentless pragmatism, ensuring that high-level goals are translated into actionable execution.
  • Influential Data Storyteller: You demonstrate strong influential communications across all levels and utilize data-driven storytelling to identify insights and move the needle on key initiatives.
  • Structured Thinker: You excel at taking "gray space" problems and creating structured delivery plans with clear outcomes. You are an exceptional analytical thinker with sound independent judgment and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Adaptable Change Agent: You are highly effective in rapidly changing environments and adept at navigating complex challenges to drive process improvements.
  • Collaborative Partner: You have a proven track record of collaborative work relationships, thriving in a matrixed environment and comfortable influencing colleagues including VP+ leaders.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Military Experience
  • 6+ years of experience in Human Resources
  • 6+ years of experience in program management, including new program development and delivery
  • 5+ years of experience managing executive level stakeholders across different business functions
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including strong deck building capabilities
  • Significant experience analyzing metrics, trends, and survey data, and using them to make strategic changes

  • Manage stakeholder relationships and influence leaders across partner groups.
  • Determine new avenues to source talent for existing programs or pilot new programs to solve particular business needs.
  • Consult and problem solve across the broader Workforce Development and Talent Acquisition Organization.
