About The Position

Johnson & Johnson MedTech – Supply Chain is recruiting for a Senior Manager, Vendor & Partner Management, located in the United States, or Switzerland (remote by exception). This role is available across multiple countries and may be posted under different requisition numbers to comply with local requirements. This role is for a commercially minded, strategic individual contributor who can own global vendor and partner relationships for Customer Solutions. As business owner, this role sets the vendor strategy, leads strategic sourcing and contracting on behalf of the business, and runs vendor performance and risk programs so our services remain reliable, scalable, and cost-effective across regions.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in strategic sourcing, vendor management, or partner management in a multi-region environment.
  • Demonstrated experience leading commercial negotiations and contract structuring.
  • Proven ability to build vendor performance frameworks and run governance/business reviews.
  • Strong commercial competence and ability to influence Procurement, Legal and business partners.
  • Experience assessing and mitigating vendor risk (operational, financial, data/privacy).
  • Comfortable working across virtual teams and multiple time zones.
  • English required; other languages a plus depending on location.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with large BPO, technology or logistics vendors supporting customer-facing operations.
  • Exposure to outcomes-based or performance-based contracting.
  • Experience in regulated industries (healthcare, life sciences) a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and socialize a global vendor segmentation and strategy that aligns to Customer Solutions priorities and cost-to-serve goals.
  • Lead strategic sourcing initiatives and commercial contract negotiations in close coordination with Procurement and Legal.
  • Design and operate performance scorecards; run regular business reviews and drive continuous improvement with vendors.
  • Own vendor risk management: assess financial, operational, security and privacy risks; define mitigations and critical issue paths.
  • Create vendor playbooks, scorecards and standard operating procedures to support regional operational teams.
  • Support vendor transitions and onboarding activities to ensure minimal operational disruption.
  • Partner with Commercial, GCS Regional Operations and IT partners to align vendor capabilities to business needs and future roadmap.
