About The Position

CelLink is scaling advanced manufacturing in Georgetown, and we're looking for a Senior Manager, Technical Operations to help lead that growth. This is a high-impact leadership role overseeing the teams and systems that keep our factory running safely, reliably, and efficiently, including Production, Maintenance, Production Planning, and Configuration Management. You’ll lead leaders, connect the dots across functions, and make sure people, equipment, schedules, materials, and product configurations are aligned to deliver. We need someone who is comfortable on the manufacturing floor, knows the numbers, understands the technology behind the operation, and can balance today's production demands with building a more scalable, reliable factory for tomorrow.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive manufacturing, production, maintenance, planning, equipment, or technical operations experience.
  • 5+ years leading supervisors, managers, or other people leaders in a high-volume, automated, or technically complex environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Industrial Technology, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on advanced manufacturing experience.
  • Proven experience owning manufacturing performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost, staffing, downtime, and equipment reliability.
  • Strong understanding of automated manufacturing equipment, maintenance, troubleshooting, production controls, planning, configuration/change control, and manufacturing processes.
  • Comfortable using operational data and KPIs to identify problems, prioritize resources, and drive measurable improvement.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills and the ability to communicate effectively from the production floor to senior leadership.

Nice To Haves

  • Automotive, electronics, battery, semiconductor, high-speed assembly, or other advanced manufacturing experience.
  • Experience in 24/7 operations, NPI, equipment commissioning, manufacturing ramp, capacity expansion, or production stabilization.
  • Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, or reliability experience.
  • Experience with MES, ERP, CMMS, production planning, configuration management, or manufacturing dashboards.
  • Experience working within ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or similar quality systems.

Responsibilities

  • Coach and develop leaders across Production, Maintenance, Planning, Configuration Management, and related functions.
  • Drive safety, quality, delivery, cost, staffing, schedule, equipment availability, and workforce performance.
  • Establish strong operating rhythms across Production, Maintenance, Planning, and Configuration Management, with clear priorities, escalation paths, and accountability.
  • Lead production readiness, workforce planning, capacity planning, equipment readiness, ramp-ups, commissioning, and stabilization of new and sustaining programs.
  • Oversee preventive/predictive maintenance, breakdown response, recurring-failure elimination, spare-parts strategy, and CMMS discipline.
  • Ensure schedules, BOMs, routings, revisions, material requirements, and change controls are accurate and aligned with manufacturing execution.
  • Use data, KPIs, Lean principles, structured problem solving, and continuous improvement to increase throughput, yield, efficiency, and uptime while reducing downtime, scrap, and rework.
  • Work closely with Engineering, NPI, Quality, Automation & Controls, Supply Chain, EHS, HR, and other teams to solve constraints and keep programs moving.
  • Build capability in problem-solving, reliability, performance management, talent development, and continuous improvement.
  • Reinforce a culture of safety, accountability, operational discipline, and continuous improvement across the organization.
