About The Position

GeForce NOW is NVIDIA's Cloud Gaming service, streaming games at the highest quality to any and every user, regardless of their device type and capabilities - low-end PCs, Macs, TV or mobile devices. Using the most sophisticated GPUs and NVIDIA proprietary software, GeForce NOW transforms the gaming experience with always up-to-date games on always the latest hardware, a streaming experience rivaling that of a local PC, and near-instant launch – just click and play! We are seeking an experienced Systems Software Engineering Manager to lead a team building cloud services supporting GeForce NOW. In this organization, you will improve our operations and feature delivery cadence while maintaining the reliability of our internal and external-facing cloud services.

Requirements

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent program from an accredited University/College (or equivalent experience)
  • 10+ overall years of software development or equivalent experience; 5+ years of experience in leading a SW engineering team.
  • Hands on experience with designing, prototyping, building and running best-of-breed Cloud Services (SaaS; large scale distributed systems).
  • Proven experience taking mobile and cloud products from inception to successful release and adoption.
  • Strong customer focus, ownership, urgency and drive.
  • Demonstrated capability to provide deep technical leadership to agile teams.
  • Strong self-initiative, interpersonal skills, and the flexibility to quickly synthesize new ideas and concepts.

Responsibilities

  • Build a strategy for growing usage and scale of existing customers while crafting features to delight an ever-expanding set of new customers.
  • Own technical requirements, roadmaps, design, architecture, implementation, operations and management of the service.
  • Partner closely with peer organizations to achieve business success in the GPU Cloud space, including SW development teams to continuously drive improvements in service reliability, using strong SW engineer processes, superb tools, and influential strategies.
