Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent experience) with 8+ years of professional experience in an infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE role.
Deep expertise with AWS services (VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.).
Proven hands-on experience with EC2 instance management and optimization.
Experience leveraging AI-assisted coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or GitHub Copilot to enhance code quality and development efficiency.
Significant experience working with configuration management tools, especially Ansible.
Strong understanding and experience with Kubernetes administration and deployment.
Experience implementing and managing HashiCorp Vault for secrets management.
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, Go).
Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancing).
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Deep understanding and usage of either Cassandra or DynamoDB.
Experience with other IaC tools (e.g., CDK, Terraform, CloudFormation).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, DataDog).
Experience developing and building Zero Trust networks and secure multi-cloud networks.

Responsibilities

Build, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Manage and optimize compute resources, specifically including Amazon EC2 instances and related services.
Configure ArgoCD or similar tools for GitOps, multi-tenant deployment solutions, and continuous delivery pipelines.
Architect, deploy, and manage container orchestration platforms, primarily Kubernetes.
Implement and manage security and secrets management tools, including HashiCorp Vault.
Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using configuration management tools, placing a strong emphasis on Ansible.
Monitor system performance, identify and solve issues, and ensure alignment to guidelines and compliance standards.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of applications.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to setting technical direction and standards for the infrastructure team.
