About The Position

The Senior Manager, Supply Chain Planning Management (Management Path) is part of Alcon’s Supply Chain function, which manages logistics, inventory management, and supply chain analytics for Alcon products. The role leads teams to improve supply chain performance, align sales forecasts with production capacity, and ensure timely order fulfillment. It makes strategic decisions that affect supply chain strategy and operations. The position leads multiple teams in the supply chain planning department, manages systems and plans that support manufacturing and customer needs, and promotes talent development, associate engagement, safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement. Associates must follow Good Practice (GxP) regulations and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintain accurate documentation, and complete required training.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of directly related experience; alternatively, high school education plus 15 years, an associate degree plus 11 years, a master’s degree plus 4 years, or a PhD plus 3 years.
Ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
7 years of relevant experience.
5 years of demonstrated leadership.

Responsibilities

Lead multiple teams in the supply chain planning department to meet goals through effective resource management.
Develop and manage systems to improve supply chain performance and ensure manufacturing meets customer needs.
Align sales forecasts with production capacities and inventory levels to optimize business performance.
Manage production plans and schedules, analyze market trends to predict demand, and ensure timely order fulfillment.
Drive talent development, enhance associate engagement, and promote a strong safety culture.
Follow GxP regulations and SOPs, maintain accurate documentation, and complete required training.
Contribute to organizational compliance and continuous improvement.
