About The Position

Del Monte Fresh Produce Company Inc. is a global leader in fresh fruits and vegetables, delivering quality products from farm to table. Del Monte Foods (DMC Foods Inc.), the Foods Division of Fresh Del Monte, is seeking a Senior Manager, Supply Chain Logistics FP&A. This position partners closely with Logistics departments to drive cost optimization and profitability. The role works cross-functionally to develop a deep understanding of key business drivers, metrics, and insights to deliver business results. The ideal candidate will have proven results in driving process improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
  • 10+ years of relevant experience with significant exposure to supply chain or operations finance
  • Experience providing finance support for supply chain logistics
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Solid understanding of cost/supply chain accounting principles
  • Extensive background in forecasting, budgeting and financial analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and meet aggressive deadlines
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle)
  • Experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) Industry
  • Proven ability to partner cross-functionally

Responsibilities

  • Provide robust and accurate reporting on actuals to ensure transparency into Logistics performance
  • Deliver forward-looking insights on variances, risks and opportunities
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning through close partnership with Logistics departments and Supply Chain Finance team
  • Guide the flow of budget and forecast inputs through Supply Chain to ensure deployment data is accurately reflected for Logistics
  • Gain thorough knowledge of Freight and Warehousing Amortization Models to understand impact on monthly actuals and develop accurate forecasts
  • Help prepare financial presentations and reports to senior leadership
  • Partner with Director of Transportation and Director of Warehouse Operations to align supply chain objectives with financial goals
  • Drive initiatives to reduce logistics costs without compromising efficiency or service levels
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure alignment of financial objectives
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to transportation and warehousing costs
  • Analyze trends and variances to guide executive decision-making
  • Provide strategic support to Logistics leadership team
