•$171,000 - $236,000•Hybrid

About The Position

Superhuman is seeking a Senior Manager to lead financial planning, forecasting, and performance management for its self-serve consumer business. The role analyzes user behavior, cohort dynamics, and product and market trends across the company’s products to identify growth opportunities and inform investment decisions. The Senior Manager serves as the primary finance partner to Growth and works closely with Product, Data, business units, and Finance. The position evaluates how product and go-to-market decisions—including feature launches and marketing—affect acquisition, conversion, retention, ARR, and revenue. It builds and owns self-serve ARR planning and forecasting frameworks, develops user-level and cohort models, monitors performance, and improves metrics, attribution, data quality, reporting, and forecasting processes. The role also translates complex analysis into recommendations for leaders, with exposure to senior leadership and the Board. The role follows a hybrid working model and requires team members to be based in the San Francisco Bay Area and collaborate in person two days per week.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of progressive experience in FP&A, strategic finance, corporate finance, investment banking, consulting, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience partnering with product, growth, or business-unit leaders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Math, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Advanced financial modeling skills, including building and stress-testing flexible, assumption-driven models from ambiguous inputs.
  • Experience with user-level metrics such as conversion, retention, and churn, and with cohort analysis connecting user behavior to ARR and revenue.
  • Proficiency in SQL, including the ability to work directly with data to validate metrics and build analyses.
  • Excellent communication skills, including structured storytelling for executives and cross-functional partners and the ability to move between detail and narrative.
  • Ability to build trust and influence results with varied stakeholder groups, including senior leaders, without formal authority.
  • Analytical rigor, intellectual curiosity, attention to detail, and ability to synthesize information, diagnose root causes, and investigate unit economics while maintaining a strategic perspective.
  • Demonstrated ability to use AI tools for analysis, research, or workflow automation, with sound judgment in validating outputs.
  • Team-oriented and self-directed approach, with the ability to prioritize and drive complex workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of accounting principles and revenue recognition.
