Senior Manager - Software Development Engineering
About The Position
This position provides strategic leadership and oversees the digital engineering function. The Senior Manager manages a team of engineers, defines technical strategies and roadmaps, ensures successful project delivery, and fosters innovation and collaboration. The role coordinates with stakeholders, allocates resources, drives technical excellence, and aligns business goals with technical solutions to continuously improve the organization’s digital engineering capabilities. The role oversees digital engineering projects and delivery within scope, budget, and timeline; contributes to long-term plans, technology adoption strategies, and innovation initiatives; and guides teams in applying best practices, optimizing development processes, and resolving technical challenges. It collaborates with senior leadership to define a business-aligned strategy and roadmap, and with architects and senior engineers on the design and architecture of digital solutions. The position engages business leaders, clients, and partners to understand needs, gather requirements, and manage expectations; establishes quality assurance processes and standards; drives continuous improvement; and mentors engineers in their professional growth.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software development experience.
- 3+ years of experience with Node.js and/or AWS cloud engineering.
- 3+ years of experience directing or managing engineering teams, including performance growth, capacity planning, and related management tasks.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (high school diploma plus 4 years of relevant experience).

- Hands-on experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with engineering teams.
- Experience bridging gaps between technical teams to improve collaboration and delivery.
- Experience collaborating with architecture stakeholders to define and drive technical decisions.
