Requirements

  • 8+ Years of experience working in the field of scientific and laboratory informatics, within R&D and/or QC Manufacturing spaces
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Laboratory Science / Life Science (e.g., Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Microbiology) or Computer Science or Engineering (e.g., Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering)

Nice To Haves

  • 4+ years of experience in consulting
  • Experience working in or with life sciences R&D, QC, or IT
  • Experience originating, negotiating, and contracting work
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and both verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead and shape digital laboratory transformation initiatives—spanning scientific informatics, data, automation, and AI—to deliver measurable client impact.
  • Architect and oversee end‑to‑end delivery of engagements, including solution design, estimates, scope, and execution.
  • Drive program outcomes aligned to defined goals and value realization.
  • Quantify and clearly articulate business value and outcomes generated by solutions.
  • Proactively manage delivery execution, including risks, issues, dependencies, and stakeholder reporting.
  • Own client outcomes, including accountability for contractual commitments, delivery quality, and client satisfaction.
  • Act as escalation point for critical delivery or client issues.
  • Shape client vision and strategic roadmap across people, process, technology, and data.
  • Provide clear points of view on digital lab solutions, including platform and approach tradeoffs.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships; act as a trusted advisor to Senior Directors and VPs.
  • Align stakeholders and drive priorities across complex, multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrate business acumen and organizational awareness in navigating client environments.
  • Articulate compelling value propositions and business cases.
  • Lead and support business development, including opportunity identification and pursuit execution.
  • Develop thought leadership that drives practice growth, differentiation, and market recognition.
  • Build and apply deep expertise in laboratory operations, industry trends, and digital technologies.
  • Lead, coach, and develop team members; provide performance feedback and mentorship.
  • Foster a high‑performance culture with accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Actively manage risks to engagements, practice performance, and brand/reputation.
