About The Position

Accenture's Scientific Informatics practice combines scientific innovation with leading-edge technology to help clients achieve Digital Laboratory Transformation. We leverage digital technologies such as automation, artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, analytics, and cloud, along with a redesign of the scientific user experience, to help clients better capture, manage, integrate, and analyze complex scientific data. This role focuses on improving the discovery and manufacturing of new products, enhancing quality, ensuring compliance, reducing time to market, and boosting operational efficiency. As a team member, you will be exposed to cutting-edge technologies and processes used by leading companies and government agencies.

Requirements

  • 6+ Years of experience working in the field of scientific and laboratory informatics, within R&D and/or QC Manufacturing spaces
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Laboratory Science / Life Science (e.g., Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Microbiology) or Computer Science or Engineering (e.g., Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering)

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of experience in consulting
  • Experience working in or with life sciences R&D, QC, or IT
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and both verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Manage talented cross-functional teams to deliver unique and challenging strategy and implementation projects for clients that advance their ambitions for digital laboratory operations and scientific intelligence.
  • Shape digital laboratory transformation initiatives—spanning scientific informatics, data, automation, and AI—to deliver measurable client impact.
  • Analyze and redesign lab business processes; define product requirements, use cases, and user stories.
  • Oversee end‑to‑end delivery of engagements, including solution design, estimates, scope, and execution.
  • Drive program outcomes aligned to defined goals and value realization.
  • Quantify and clearly articulate business value and outcomes generated by solutions.
  • Proactively manage delivery execution, including risks, issues, dependencies, and stakeholder reporting.
  • Own client outcomes, including accountability for contractual commitments, delivery quality, and client satisfaction.
  • Act as escalation point for critical delivery or client issues.
  • Shape client vision and strategic roadmap across people, process, technology, and data/AI.
  • Provide clear points of view on digital lab solutions, including platform and approach tradeoffs.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships; act as a trusted advisor to Directors and Senior Directors.
  • Align stakeholders and drive priorities across complex, multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrate business acumen and organizational awareness in navigating client environments.
  • Articulate compelling value propositions and business cases.
  • Support business development, including opportunity identification and pursuit execution.
  • Build and apply deep expertise in laboratory operations, industry trends, and digital technologies.
  • Lead, coach, and develop team members; provide performance feedback and mentorship.
  • Foster a high‑performance culture with accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Actively manage risks to engagements, practice performance, and brand/reputation.
