About The Position

Accenture's Laboratory Reinvention practice merges scientific and laboratory innovation with cutting-edge technology, assisting clients in achieving Digital and AI Laboratory Transformation. We leverage digital technologies like GenAI, automation, IoT, and cloud, alongside a redesign of the scientific user experience, to help clients better capture, manage, integrate, and analyze complex scientific data. This role aims to improve research, development, and manufacturing, enhance quality, ensure compliance, reduce time to market, and boost operational efficiency. As a member of the team, you will be exposed to cutting-edge technologies and processes used by leading companies and government agencies.

Requirements

  • 3+ Years of experience working in the field of scientific and laboratory informatics, within R&D and/or QC Manufacturing spaces.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Laboratory Science / Life Science (e.g., Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Microbiology) or Computer Science or Engineering (e.g., Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering).
  • Candidates must be willing to travel up to 50% to client locations.

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of experience in consulting.
  • Experience working in or with life sciences R&D, QC.
  • Implementation experience with any of the following laboratory solutions: Benchling, Revvity Signals, Dotmatics, LabVantage, LabWare, Scitara, TetraScience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and both verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional, differentiated strategies, roadmaps, value cases, and highly valued projects for clients that advance their ambitions for digital laboratory operations and scientific intelligence.
  • Apply management consulting and design-thinking techniques to the fundamental redesign of the scientific user experience.
  • Help shape client transformation visions, focus areas, and journeys from current to future enterprise environments.
  • Reimagine, plan, and execute on how AI reshapes the laboratory landscape.
  • Redesign processes and operating models to enable new ways of working with data-driven business cases.
  • Provide points of view on laboratory and scientific informatics solutions, including the strengths and weaknesses of various technology solutions.
  • Advise on data and system architectures as they relate to industry solutions for the laboratory.
  • Create digital laboratory thought leadership for clients across Life Sciences.
  • Collaborate with client leaders to gain alignment on recommended solutions.
  • Oversee, design, and implement digital solutions such as Agentic Lab Capabilities, Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), Electronic Laboratory Notebooks (ELN), Chromatography Data Systems (CDS), Scientific Data Management Systems (SDMS), Internet of Things (IoT), and cloud.
  • Help clients better capture, handle, integrate, and analyze complex scientific data.
