About The Position

The Senior Manager S&OP Strategy leads the governance, cadence, and continuous improvement of the company’s S&OP process. This role partners across Supply Chain, Operations, Commercial, Finance, and Customer teams to turn planning inputs into clear risks, tradeoffs, actions, and leadership decisions. This role does not own day-to-day demand, supply, capacity, or production planning. Instead, it ensures the S&OP process is structured, decision-focused, and connected to business priorities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Operations, or a related field
  • 7+ years of progressive supply chain, S&OP, or operations experience
  • Proven experience leading or supporting S&OP processes, governance, or cross-functional planning routines
  • Experience working across Demand, Supply, Finance, and Commercial functions in a matrixed environment
  • Demonstrated experience driving process design, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Experience preparing executive-level materials and facilitating senior leadership discussions
  • Deep understanding of S&OP processes, governance, and performance management
  • Strong business acumen, including financial concepts (AOP, forecast, margin, EBITDA, working capital)
  • Ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights, risks, and actionable recommendations
  • Strong facilitation skills to drive decision-making, alignment, and accountability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive presentation capabilities
  • Structured problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and navigate ambiguity
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder influence skills
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems, planning tools)

Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall design and continuous improvement of the S&OP process, including meeting cadence, governance, decision rights, standard work, and escalation routines.
  • Own the S&OP calendar, meeting structure, pre-read requirements, executive agenda, and action tracking for key S&OP forums.
  • Coordinate inputs from Demand Planning, Collaborative Planning, Supply Planning, Capacity Planning, Finance, Commercial, Operations, and Customer teams to support integrated business decisions.
  • Translate planning outputs into clear insights, risks, tradeoffs, and recommended decisions for the VP of Supply Chain and cross-functional leadership.
  • Develop and maintain S&OP performance scorecards, including service, forecast accuracy, forecast bias, supply attainment, inventory, working capital, capacity utilization, and action closure.
  • Partner with Finance to connect S&OP outputs to AOP, latest estimate, margin, EBITDA, and working capital impacts.
  • Support scenario planning and tradeoff analysis for major business decisions, including demand changes, capacity constraints, customer prioritization, inventory policy, and network impacts.
  • Identify recurring gaps in planning inputs, decision quality, escalation discipline, and cross-functional alignment; work with functional owners to improve the process.
  • Maintain S&OP playbooks, templates, standard work, and maturity roadmap across platforms and sites.
  • Ensure S&OP forums stay focused on enterprise-level decisions, risks, tradeoffs, and escalations rather than routine planning updates.
