Senior Manager, Provider Experience Strategy
About The Position
Oscar is hiring a Senior Manager, Provider Experience Strategy to join their Provider Experience Team. Oscar is a health insurance company built on a technology platform focused on serving its members. The role involves driving strategy and implementation of programs to optimize the provider experience, collaborating cross-functionally, managing complex project plans, leveraging data for decision-making, and solving end-to-end challenges with a strong sense of ownership. The position reports to the Director, Strategic Planning. This is a remote position open to candidates in Atlanta, Georgia. Future work models may involve a hybrid presence.
Requirements
- 6+ years experience in strategy and operations.
- Healthcare experience (Health Insurance, Health Systems, or Healthcare Consulting)
- 4+ years of experience in product management and program management

- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements in programs
- Successfully executed enterprise-wide initiatives: defined project plans, coordinated resources, managed implementation activities, and developed all processes associated with program rollout and ongoing support
- Comfort and experience working with technology stakeholders to ideate and leverage tech solutions to drive business value
- Knowledge of U.S. health insurance business models and dynamics, especially related to initiatives targeting the provider experience
- Master's Degree
- PMP Certifications or Program Management Certifications
Responsibilities
- Help achieve and execute the strategy for department-specific programs
- Manage important cross-functional projects from definition to delivery, including project plan creation, stakeholder engagement, and post-launch iteration.
- Define success criteria and use data fluency to analyze performance, own root-cause analysis, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Evaluate existing workflows to identify gaps and build operating plans that improve department projects.
- Improve consensus and align with leadership on overarching needs, building complex projects.
- Help grow direct reports (as applicable) and provide mentorship to promote colleagues' professional development.
