About The Position

Oscar is hiring a Senior Manager, Provider Experience Strategy to join their Provider Experience Team. This role will drive the strategy and end-to-end implementation of programming focused on optimizing the provider experience. The position requires cross-functional collaboration, partnership with internal teams to manage complex project plans, and the use of data to build compelling narratives and make informed decisions. The Senior Manager will solve end-to-end challenges and bring a strong ownership attitude to achieving team goals. This role reports into the Director, Strategic Planning.

Requirements

  • 6+ years experience in strategy and operations.
  • Healthcare experience (Health Insurance, Health Systems, or Healthcare Consulting)
  • 4+ years of experience in product management and program management

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements in programs
  • Successfully executed enterprise-wide initiatives: defined project plans, coordinated resources, managed implementation activities, and developed all processes associated with program rollout and ongoing support
  • Comfort and experience working with technology stakeholders to ideate and leverage tech solutions to drive business value
  • Knowledge of U.S. health insurance business models and dynamics, especially related to initiatives targeting the provider experience
  • Master's Degree
  • PMP Certifications or Program Management Certifications

Responsibilities

  • Help achieve and execute the strategy for department-specific programs
  • Manage important cross-functional projects from definition to delivery, including project plan creation, stakeholder engagement, and post-launch iteration.
  • Define success criteria and use data fluency to analyze performance, own root-cause analysis, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Evaluate existing workflows to identify gaps and build operating plans that improve department projects.
  • Improve consensus and align with leadership on overarching needs, building complex projects.
  • Help grow direct reports (as applicable) and provide mentorship to promote colleagues' professional development.
