About The Position

The Senior Manager, Programs & Events at Lenbrook Square Foundation Inc is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and evaluation of a diverse range of programs and events aimed at enhancing community engagement and organizational outreach. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in program and event management, preferably within a non-profit or foundation setting.
  • Proven track record of successfully planning, executing, and managing large-scale events and programs.
  • Experience in leading and mentoring a team, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop and manage budgets effectively, ensuring financial goals are met.
  • Proficiency in event management software and tools.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to innovate and drive continuous improvement in program and event offerings.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and resolve issues efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for programs and events that supports the foundation's objectives and enhances its reputation in the community.
  • Lead the planning and execution of events, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities for new programs and events that align with community needs and interests.
  • Manage and mentor a team of program coordinators, providing guidance and support to ensure successful delivery of all initiatives.
  • Oversee the evaluation of programs and events, using feedback and data to continuously improve and innovate.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, sponsors, and partners to ensure successful collaboration and support for events.
  • Prepare and manage budgets for all programs and events, ensuring financial accountability and transparency.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including health and safety requirements.
  • Represent the foundation at community events and meetings, acting as an ambassador to promote its mission and values.
