As a Senior Manger of Program Management at Caterpillar, you will have the opportunity to leads a team of project management professionals and oversee the operational functions and strategies of more complex corporate programs.

Requirements

Extensive experience in knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
Extensive experience in knowledge of the process of planning and arranging tasks and resources; ability to plan and organize both time and resources to get things completed while structuring and maintaining work in a systematic and highly methodical way.
Extensive experience in understanding of the importance of inter-team collaboration in breaking down silos and achieving business results; ability to lead employees from various functions to communicate, coordinate work across divisions, and collaborate in solving problems as one team.
Extensive experience in knowledge of organization's budget process; ability to apply policies and practices for planning and administering a budget.

Degree or equivalent experience desired
Progressive project management experience including extensive supervisory experience

Responsibilities

Evaluating and providing guidance during the general and detailed planning stages of organizational programs; developing strategies to ensure all projects within the program are cohesive and in line with organizational goals.
Overseeing the hiring, development and management of all project teams within the program, including both internal staff and external contractors.
Defining, establishing and monitoring the program's project management goals.
Collaborating with business executives on using a disciplined project management approach and coaching them on their project-related roles and responsibilities.
