About The Position

Mercury is seeking a go-to-market leader to drive growth across its three primary motions: product-led, sales-led, and partner-led. The role involves developing a data-driven strategy and consistent positioning across the customer journey to make these motions work more effectively together. The company operates in the fintech industry, providing banking services through partner banks.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of B2B product marketing experience with full ownership of GTM strategy.
  • Demonstrated experience driving growth across multiple GTM motions (product-led, sales-led, partner-led) and understanding their interaction.
  • Strong messaging and positioning skills, including developing narratives, testing with customers, and creating assets for sales and partners.
  • Revenue mindset with experience tracking contribution to pipeline, activation, and retention, and using data to inform strategy.
  • Experience building effective sales enablement materials like playbooks, battlecards, and training.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and align teams (sales, product, partnerships, growth) without direct authority.

Nice To Haves

  • Fintech, banking, or financial services experience.
  • Experience at a company that scaled through multiple GTM channels simultaneously, especially with a strong PLG foundation extending into enterprise or channel.
  • Data fluency, including experience with tools like Amplitude, Hex, Metabase, or SQL.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end GTM strategy across product-led, sales-led, and partner-led growth motions, including segmentation, messaging, channel planning, and cross-functional execution.
  • Build and maintain customer journey, messaging, and infrastructure that works across all three motions, ensuring shared value propositions and personas are adaptable for self-serve, sales, and partner contexts.
  • Partner with the Growth product organization on strategy and execution for top-of-funnel, conversion, activation, and virality.
  • Drive pipeline and revenue contribution by partnering with sales leadership on enablement, including battlecards, objection-handling frameworks, deal acceleration content, and segment-specific playbooks.
  • Develop partner marketing strategy in collaboration with the partnerships team, including co-marketing programs, partner enablement materials, and joint GTM playbooks.
  • Lead customer and market research to identify competitive dynamics, growth opportunities, and inform product, pricing, and roadmap decisions.
  • Define and track PMM metrics for growth, such as activation rates, pipeline influence, partner-sourced revenue, and segment-level conversion, to continuously improve GTM strategy.
