About the position
We are seeking a hands-on Senior Product Marketing Manager for SonicWall who will be responsible for the go-to-market strategy and ongoing success of SonicWall's Next Gen Appliance and Management product offerings. This role involves researching, planning, and executing the strategy to meet business objectives in line with the global market. The Senior Product Marketing Manager will analyze market size and competition, develop marketing plans, create collateral, and lead cross-functional teams to successfully launch products and drive growth. Additionally, they will support sales enablement and tool development, as well as evaluate product and market opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement the go-to-market strategy for SonicWall's Next Gen Appliance and Management product offerings
- Analyze market size and competition, understanding their strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats
- Research industry positioning, learning requirements, and compliance needs for specific industries
- Manage the product launch cycle and create collateral to explain new features to the market
- Collaborate to develop and implement marketing plans and business development strategies
- Produce product, industry, and thought leadership content through various channels
- Lead cross-functional teams to successfully launch products and drive growth
- Evaluate product and market opportunities and decide appropriate activities in line with the strategy
- Research and propose new information security awareness tools/assets to be added to the service
- Manage the development and marketing of these new tools/assets
- Communicate the value proposition of the products to various channels within SonicWall
- Develop sales tools and training to support the selling process of the service to various teams
- Drive success towards established targets through execution and review of the marketing plan
- Continually evaluate the plan to integrate new targets and areas of focus
