About The Position

We are seeking a Sr. Manager, Procurement to join our Corporate Procurement team based in Oak Brook, Illinois. This role is responsible for developing and executing category strategies that drive cost savings, optimize supplier performance, and support enterprise-wide business objectives. In this role, you will partner with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to lead strategic sourcing initiatives, manage supplier relationships, and deliver value through data-driven decision-making. You will play a critical role in ensuring supply continuity, managing risk, and advancing procurement capabilities across the organization. You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field
• Seven or more years of procurement or sourcing experience
• Strong understanding of sourcing strategies, supplier management, and supply chains
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and lead cross-functional initiatives
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience in CPG, food manufacturing, or related industry preferred
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems preferred
• Project management experience
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category and sourcing strategies aligned with business priorities
• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives to drive cost savings and operational efficiency
• Manage supplier relationships including negotiations, contracts, and performance management
• Analyze market trends and provide insights to support business decisions
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align procurement strategies and support innovation
• Drive supplier performance through scorecards and continuous improvement initiatives
• Monitor spend, support forecasting, and track performance against financial targets
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and supplier standards
• Identify and mitigate supply and pricing risks
• Support enterprise supply chain and procurement transformation initiatives
