About The Position

We’re seeking a Senior Manager – Procurement Governance & Optimisation to lead governance, performance and capability uplift across a complex enterprise environment. Reporting to the General Manager Corporate Services, this role sits at the centre of how procurement continues to evolve at Tabcorp. You’ll strengthen frameworks, improve visibility, simplify ways of working and ensure procurement is positioned as a trusted, enabling function across the business. Partnering with senior leaders and key stakeholders, you’ll help align procurement activity to enterprise priorities, ensuring decisions are well-informed, risks are well-managed and procurement delivers clear value across the organisation.

Requirements

  • Proven experience operating in complex enterprise environments with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong judgement and the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive clarity.
  • A track record of uplifting governance, processes, systems or capability within procurement or an adjacent function.
  • Confidence influencing senior leaders and building trusted relationships across the business.
  • Strong analytical capability, with the ability to use data and insights to inform decisions and drive improvement.
  • A collaborative, pragmatic leadership style, with the ability to bring people on the journey.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the uplift of procurement governance and compliance frameworks, policies and controls.
  • Simplify and optimise end-to-end procurement processes, with a focus on operational efficiency and stakeholder experience.
  • Oversee audit and compliance activities to ensure procurement risks are appropriately managed.
  • Lead the enhancement and optimisation of procurement systems and tools, including Oracle Fusion capabilities.
  • Establish meaningful procurement performance metrics and reporting to improve visibility, efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain procurement policies, procedures and frameworks that support compliance, consistency and ethical standards.
  • Embed a culture of continuous improvement by identifying bottlenecks, leveraging data insights and implementing sustainable process improvements.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to build strong cross-functional relationships and improve procurement engagement across the enterprise.
  • Lead a small team of procurement professionals to deliver high-quality support to the business.
