The Senior Manager, People, leads the execution of strategic human resource initiatives to support business objectives and operational needs. This role oversees talent development, performance management, and compliance with policies and regulations while fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment. By leveraging data analysis and organizational change management, the position drives continuous improvement and effective resource allocation. The Senior Manager partners with business leaders to provide guidance, remove obstacles, and promote a culture of accountability and growth, ensuring alignment with company values and delivering measurable results. About the team: Walmart Connect (WMC) is a vital component of Walmart’s growth strategy, operating a multi-billion-dollar retail media business that links brands with customers across digital and physical channels. The People Partner team delivers strategic and operational solutions in talent management, organizational design, workforce planning, performance enablement, and leadership coaching. This team collaborates closely with business leaders to support organizational change, enhance employee engagement, and drive data-informed decisions. Focused on fostering development and operational excellence, the team plays a key role in advancing Walmart Connect’s mission to connect and serve customers effectively.
Requirements
- Proven experience in human resource management and organizational change initiatives.
- Strong ability to analyze data and interpret reports to inform business decisions.
- Demonstrated skills in employee engagement and team development through coaching and mentoring.
- Expertise in driving compliance with federal, state, and company policies and procedures.
- Ability to develop and communicate business plans aligned with strategic goals.
- Effective leadership in fostering a high-performing, collaborative work environment.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and adaptability in dynamic business settings.

Responsibilities
- Partner with senior leaders to design and execute talent strategies aligned to business growth
- Drive organizational design, workforce planning, and leadership development initiatives
- Lead talent reviews, succession planning, and high-impact development efforts
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards by providing guidance and training.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate and improve operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Define and implement people strategies aligned with business goals and organizational change initiatives.
- Analyze people and business data to inform decisions, identify risks, and recommend improvements.
- Maintain compliance with applicable laws and regulations, ensuring confidentiality and integrity of information.
