About The Position

The Senior Manager, People, leads the execution of strategic human resource initiatives to support business objectives while fostering a high-performing, collaborative team environment. The People Partner team collaborates closely with Energy leadership to align talent and organizational strategies with business growth. This team focuses on workforce planning, leadership development, and capability building to support evolving business needs. They drive change management initiatives and enhance organizational effectiveness by coaching leaders and fostering strong engagement. Acting as strategic advisors, team members connect business goals with talent solutions, ensuring sustainable growth and operational excellence. Their work integrates data analysis and human resource strategies to build a resilient organization that supports Walmart’s Energy objectives and long-term success.

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in human resource management and organizational change management.
  • Strong skills in data analysis to inform strategic decision-making and performance measurement.
  • Experience in developing and executing human resource strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams through coaching and performance management.
  • Knowledge of compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
  • Proficiency in driving employee engagement and fostering a positive workplace culture.
  • Demonstrated adaptability and commitment to continuous learning and process improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead execution of business plans by identifying operational needs, setting priorities, and removing obstacles to enhance performance.
  • Supervise and develop associates through training, mentoring, performance evaluations, and coaching to foster a collaborative team environment.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal regulations by providing guidance and conducting audits.
  • Define and implement human resource strategies aligned with business goals, advising leaders on organizational change and talent planning.
  • Analyze HR and business data to identify risks, recommend improvements, and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Promote a culture of respect, integrity, and accountability while driving continuous improvement and associate engagement.
