About The Position

The Senior Manager, Outpatient Imaging is responsible for oversight of the day to day operations for all technical personnel assigned to the off campus imaging locations. Works in close collaboration with departmental managers and supervisors to ensure the efficient, compliant, and high-quality operation of all outpatient imaging centers. This role is responsible for supporting daily operations, driving standardization, and maintaining regulatory readiness across multiple sites. This role performs rounds as appropriate to areas of responsibility and develops performance metrics for continuous monitoring of the department processes. This position is responsible for the departments’ continuous, effective operation and for the continuous improvement of its activities. A clear vision for the areas working in concert with the strategic goals of the PIH Health organization is expected. Promotion of all PIH Health imaging services and relationship building with all PIH Health Physicians as well as other community ordering clinicians is an expectation of this position. This position will serve as the liaison between the PIH Health Hospital Radiology Department and our PIH Health Physicians. This is a management position.

Requirements

Specific training and knowledge of Radiology
Knowledge and understanding of Title 17
Technical skills in general radiography with emphasis on positioning
Computer skills to operate MS Office Suite and within RIS/HIS/PACS/EMR
Organizational skills

Responsibilities

Oversight of the day to day operations for all technical personnel assigned to the off campus imaging locations.
Ensure the efficient, compliant, and high-quality operation of all outpatient imaging centers.
Support daily operations, drive standardization, and maintain regulatory readiness across multiple sites.
Perform rounds as appropriate to areas of responsibility.
Develop performance metrics for continuous monitoring of the department processes.
Ensure the departments’ continuous, effective operation and for the continuous improvement of its activities.
Promote all PIH Health imaging services.
Build relationships with all PIH Health Physicians as well as other community ordering clinicians.
Serve as the liaison between the PIH Health Hospital Radiology Department and our PIH Health Physicians.
Monitor workflow, staffing, and service delivery to ensure optimal patient care and operational performance.
Establish business relationships with referring clinicians to understand their needs.
