About The Position

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kentuckiana (BBBSKY) is seeking a relationship-driven fundraising professional to help the corporate and civic partners who fuel our mission feel connected, valued, and ready to invest again. As Senior Manager of Philanthropic Partnerships, you'll be the operational backbone of our corporate giving program. Working within strategy set by the Chief Development Officer, you'll steward corporate and civic partners, manage our peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns, deliver on event sponsorship commitments, and lead employee engagement and workplace giving initiatives. Success in this role means timely, personalized partner communications, accurate CRM records, smooth logistics, and partners who renew because they see the impact of their investment.

Requirements

  • Two to four years of proven success managing revenue-generating strategic partnerships
  • Proven track record in relationship management and donor stewardship
  • A vehicle, valid driver's license, and minimum state required automobile insurance
  • Reliable internet with bandwidth to host video meetings with partners and colleagues
  • Exceptional storyteller and conversationalist with diverse stakeholder audiences
  • Deep understanding of the donor cycle, prospect research, and moves management
  • Strong organization and ability to manage multiple projects and partnerships at once
  • High level of discretion with confidential donor and financial information
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, donor databases, and digital fundraising tools
  • Cross-cultural competency and ability to engage effectively in diverse community environments
  • Professional written and verbal communication
  • Proactive, solutions-focused approach and comfort with shifting priorities
  • Ability to work some evenings and weekends

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Experience with Raiser's Edge and OneCause preferred

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for corporate and civic partners on operational matters
  • Prepare customized proposals, stewardship communications, and partner reports
  • Manage stewardship events and sponsorship/gift agreement deadlines and fulfill partner benefits, including logo placement, storytelling, recognition, tickets, and signage, in collaboration with our Marketing and Special Events teams
  • Lead employee engagement initiatives, including volunteer days and info sessions, in partnership with our Strategic Volunteer Recruitment Manager
  • Manage peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns from platform setup and team registration through donor experience and reporting
  • Build campaign participation through customized info sessions and creative outreach
  • Cultivate and steward third-party fundraising events
  • Maintain accurate partner records and activity notes in our CRM
  • Manage Double the Donation and peer-to-peer fundraising platforms
  • Identify and research prospects to inform cultivation and solicitation strategy
  • Support the CEO, CDO, and CSO with meeting preparation and prospect list maintenance
  • Lead bi-monthly internal meetings on corporate partner and prospect strategy
  • Provide staff support at annual agency fundraising events
