About The Position

The Senior Manager, Partnerships is a strategic, connected to culture, relationship-driven marketing leader responsible for developing and activating high-impact partnerships that strengthen brand relevance, deepen customer engagement, drive earned coverage and business growth. This role will identify and cultivate partnerships across entertainment, lifestyle, design, culture, creators, events, and complementary brands that bring the brand to life in meaningful and differentiated ways. This leader will develop partnership strategies from concept through execution, ensuring each opportunity aligns with our brand, customer, and business objectives. The Senior Manager will collaborate closely with Brand Marketing, PR & Communications, Social, Influencer, Creative, Retail, E-commerce, Merchandising, and other cross-functional teams to create integrated experiences across physical and digital channels. The ideal candidate is highly connected, product-obsessed, commercially minded, creatively curious, and passionate about culture and experiences. They know how to turn relationships into compelling brand platforms and can balance big ideas with strong execution, measurement, and business impact. This position is remote and will report into Lovesac Corporate HUB based in Stamford, CT. Candidates must fully reside in the United States at all times during employment and should have the ability to travel as needed.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in partnerships, brand marketing, entertainment, lifestyle, sponsorships, or a related field.
  • Proven experience developing and executing strategic partnerships and integrated marketing programs.
  • Strong network and relationship-building skills across brands, entertainment, lifestyle, creators, agencies, events, or cultural organizations.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to connect creative partnership ideas to measurable business outcomes.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, presentation, and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
  • A strong understanding of how consumers engage with brands across physical and digital channels.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with creative, social, PR, retail, e-commerce, merchandising, and other marketing teams.
  • A creative and entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and turn them into action.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed to support partnerships, events, activations, and business priorities.

  • Must be able to travel using various forms of transportation, as required by the Company in its sole discretion, for mandatory meetings and conferences held either at our offices or offsite (i.e. quarterly team connection weeks, companywide meetings and events, vendor visits).
  • Must be able to travel as needed to support partnerships, events, activations, and business priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic partnerships roadmap across lifestyle, entertainment, design, culture, creators, events, and complementary brands that ladder back to Here For Life.
  • Identify emerging trends, cultural moments, talent, properties, and partnership opportunities that align with the brand and target customer.
  • Build and manage relationships with external partners, talent, agencies, brands, properties, venues, and industry stakeholders from partner pitch through contract negotiation to execution.
  • Lead partnership development from insight to ideation and negotiation through activation, execution, and post-event analysis.
  • Create compelling partnership concepts that generate brand awareness, customer engagement, earned media, social conversation, and commercial impact, including driving traffic.
  • Partner with the Integrated and Lifestyle teams to develop brand-enhancing partnerships and collaborations at the right time to drive the business.
  • Develop integrated partnership programs that come to life across retail stores, e-commerce, social, PR, influencer, CRM, content, and other customer touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure partnership activations are strategically aligned, creatively compelling, operationally executable, and financially responsible.
  • Lead agency and external partner relationships, providing clear direction, timelines, deliverables, and performance expectations.
  • Manage partnership budgets, contracts, deliverables, and timelines while ensuring strong return on investment.
  • Sit at the center of a newly developed partnership and quick to market process within the organization to drive cross functional collaboration across design, supply chain, sourcing and product development.
  • Establish measurement frameworks and KPIs to evaluate partnership performance and communicate results and learnings to senior leadership.
  • Stay ahead of trends across entertainment, lifestyle, design, culture, social media, and experiential marketing to identify opportunities for the brand to participate in relevant conversations.
  • Develop executive-ready presentations, partnership proposals, business cases, and post-program recaps.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador and advocate for innovative ways to connect the brand with customers through partnerships and experiences.
  • Perform any other reasonable duties for this role as requested by management.
