About The Position

Post Consumer Brands is seeking a strategic, hands-on Senior Manager of Maintenance to lead maintenance and utilities operations at its Battle Creek manufacturing facility. The role focuses on building a proactive maintenance culture through predictive, preventive, and planned practices to maximize reliability, ensure food safety, and support operational excellence. The Senior Manager will lead a multi-skilled team and work with Operations to improve plant performance, safety, uptime, and costs.

Requirements

• 10+ years of maintenance or engineering experience, including 8+ years in leadership.
• Strong technical expertise in plant maintenance and utilities systems.
• Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience driving preventive maintenance and reliability initiatives.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field; equivalent education and hands-on maintenance leadership experience will also be considered.
• CMRP certification, or ability to obtain it.
• Food manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a multi-skilled maintenance and utilities team.
• Drive preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to improve equipment reliability.
• Oversee plant systems, including production equipment, HVAC, boilers, and ammonia/glycol systems.
• Manage maintenance parts, inventory, and cost controls.
• Track and improve KPIs related to uptime, reliability, and cost.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards, including SQF.
• Lead CMMS utilization and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) practices.
• Partner cross-functionally with Operations to optimize plant performance.
