About The Position

The Senior Manager, Marketplace Strategic Initiatives leads strategic pricing, site, and marketing initiatives for Walmart Marketplace’s Entertainment, Toys, and Seasonal Division. This role focuses on ensuring competitive positioning and optimized traffic for third-party sellers. Collaborating across divisions and functions, the team drives business process improvements and leverages data analytics to enhance customer experience. The Marketplace Strategic Initiatives, Entertainment Toys and Seasonal (ETS) division, team leads the development and execution of strategic projects to enhance marketplace performance and drive business growth. This team is focused on analyzing business processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement innovative solutions. Requirements

  • Proven expertise in business process improvement and strategic decision-making to drive organizational goals.
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, budgeting, risk tracking, and progress reporting.
  • Ability to analyze data and leverage analytics tools to inform marketplace strategies and business cases.
  • Experience managing stakeholder relationships and influencing cross-functional teams effectively.
  • Deep understanding of e-commerce, merchandising, and marketplace dynamics to identify revenue opportunities.
  • Excellent communication skills to present complex information clearly and influence business outcomes.
  • Demonstrated capability to recommend and implement innovative solutions aligned with business strategy.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field and 4 years’ experience in Business Management, Marketing, Omni-Channel Merchandising, or a related area.
  • 6 years’ experience in Business Management, Marketing, Omni-Channel Merchandising, or a related area.
