About The Position

The Senior Manager, Marketing Operations leads the systems, processes, and team that enable Marketing to plan and execute campaigns and programs effectively. The role oversees campaign and email operations, events and webinars, budget and spend management, marketing technology, and operational coordination across Marketing. This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced operator who can bring structure to complex work, establish clear standards, improve cross-functional workflows, and ensure reliable execution. The role partners closely with Demand Generation, Product Marketing, Growth Marketing, Communications, Finance, Revenue Operations, Sales, and the Marketing Engineering team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.
  • 8–10 years of progressive experience in B2B SaaS marketing operations, campaign operations, marketing automation, or a related discipline.
  • 3-5 years team leadership experience
  • Experience leading a team or managing a shared-service Marketing function.
  • Hands-on experience with Marketo and Salesforce, including campaign setup, data flows, governance, and operational troubleshooting.
  • Experience with 6sense or a comparable account-based marketing or revenue platform.
  • Experience supporting a multi-product, multi-segment, or global Marketing organization.
  • Strong knowledge of campaign operations, marketing automation, data quality, and system handoffs.
  • Experience managing complex, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders, priorities, and deadlines.
  • Strong financial and operational discipline, including budget tracking, reconciliation, vendor administration, and forecasting support.
  • Practical fluency with AI-enabled tools and sound judgment regarding accuracy, data privacy, and appropriate human review.
  • Strong prioritization, process-design, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to identify risks and communicate recommendations and trade-offs.
  • Ability to lead a team while remaining actively involved in operational execution.

Responsibilities

  • Own the integrated Marketing calendar and campaign intake, prioritization, resource coordination, dependency management, and launch-readiness processes.
  • Oversee email and campaign operations, including audience segmentation, campaign builds, forms, landing pages, testing, deployment, tracking, and quality assurance.
  • Lead the operational planning and delivery of trade shows, webinars, and digital events, including vendor coordination, logistics, registration, production readiness, lead processing, and follow-up.
  • Maintain accurate visibility into Marketing budgets, commitments, invoices, accruals, forecasts, and actual spend; partner with Finance and budget owners on reconciliation and variance management.
  • Oversee the Marketing technology stack, including platform administration, governance, utilization, vendor management, renewals, and capability planning.
  • Establish data-governance standards for campaign setup, audience segmentation, forms, tracking, naming conventions, data capture, and system handoffs.
  • Oversee Marketing’s role in lead-scoring and routing processes, partnering with Revenue Operations to monitor performance, resolve issues, and implement approved changes.
  • Establish clear intake requirements, service levels, documentation, templates, and execution standards.
  • Standardize workflows, identify operational risks and dependencies, and continuously improve execution quality and responsiveness.
  • Identify and implement practical AI-enabled improvements that reduce manual work and improve workflow efficiency, documentation, quality assurance, and team productivity.
  • Report on campaign delivery, team capacity, service levels, budget status, and other measures of operational performance.
  • Lead and develop the Marketing Operations team by setting clear priorities, providing effective support, and reinforcing accountability.
