About The Position

The Senior Manager, Logistics — Cost & Speed sets the vision and roadmap for courier payments, offer pricing, and incentives, aligning base pay, market adjustments, and bonuses to support courier earnings, engagement, and delivery reliability. This role owns the annual driver payments and incentives budget and partners with Finance on planning, forecasts, spend pacing, variance explanations, and investment decisions, with accountability for results against plan. The role leads and develops the Courier Payments & Incentives team and owns engagement and incentive programs across activation, peak-demand participation, retention, and reactivation. It partners with Analytics and Data Science to measure incremental impact through controlled experiments and causal methods, and works with Product and Engineering to improve pay calculations, offer pricing and bidding logic, incentive delivery, and payment accuracy. The position uses AI and predictive models for supply forecasting, incentive targeting, budget scenarios, and anomaly detection, while retaining clear ownership of pay and spend decisions. It evaluates how pay and incentives affect offer acceptance, courier availability and utilization, fulfillment, delivery speed, and cost per delivery. The role establishes an operating cadence with Finance and Analytics, presents recommendations and trade-offs to Logistics leadership, and works with Legal, Finance, and Operations on market requirements, payment controls, and reliable execution for an independent-contractor network.
