About The Position

This role is for a Senior Manager on the SKE (Seasonal & Key Events) team, leading project management for Walmart’s biggest seasonal moments and key events. The position involves turning ambitious cross-functional plans into flawlessly executed experiences that drive traffic, sales, and customer love at scale. The SKE team is central to how Walmart engages customers during important times like holidays, tentpole events, and seasonal launches, acting as a liaison between Merchandising, Marketing, Site Experience, Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure timely and strategic execution. This role significantly impacts customer journeys and enterprise revenue.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of project or program management experience, ideally in retail, e-commerce, marketing, or seasonal/event-driven environments.
  • Proven track record managing complex, cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders and tight, immovable deadlines.
  • Fluency in project management tools (Smartsheet, Jira, Asana, or Workfront) and strong working knowledge of Agile and Waterfall approaches.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to brief senior leaders concisely.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Operations, or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field and 3 years' experience in supply chain, merchandising, retail management or related field OR 5 years' experience in supply chain, merchandising, retail management or related field.
  • 3 years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project management for assigned seasonal and key event programs, from kickoff through post-event recap.
  • Build and maintain integrated timelines, milestones, and RACI models across Merchandising, Marketing, Creative, Site, and Operations partners.
  • Identify risks and dependencies early, drive issue resolution, and escalate clearly to senior leadership when needed.
  • Run executive-ready status meetings, readouts, and retrospectives that keep stakeholders aligned and accountable.
  • Continuously evolve SKE playbooks, tools, and ways of working to scale event execution year over year.
