Senior Manager, GTM AI Engineer — Revenue Enablement

BrexSalt Lake City, UT
$154,400 - $193,000Hybrid

About The Position

Brex is seeking a Senior Manager, GTM AI Engineer for Revenue Enablement. This is a net-new, highly impactful role responsible for transforming AI experiments into a governed, prioritized, production-grade AI capability for the entire Go-To-Market (GTM) organization. The role requires a hybrid of strategist, engineer, and embedded partner who can set the roadmap for GTM AI investment, build and ship critical applications, and drive adoption with sales teams. This individual will act as a key liaison between Sales, Revenue Operations, Product, and Engineering. The GTM Enablement team at Brex focuses on systems that enhance seller effectiveness, including certification, onboarding, collateral, and skill development, with AI as the primary mechanism. The role involves setting the internal sales enablement AI roadmap, prioritizing AI application development across the enablement lifecycle, and building and standardizing the GTM AI tooling stack by writing and shipping production code. A critical aspect of the role is making strategic build-vs-buy decisions for enablement capabilities, evaluating third-party vendors against Brex's internal AI stack. Deep understanding of the sales domain, including processes, workflows, and performance metrics, is essential to identify areas where AI can provide genuine leverage. The position requires a strong bias towards governance and simplicity in tooling.

Requirements

  • 4+ years in a role combining go-to-market (Revenue Ops or Enablement) with 1+ year focused on building sales-technology domain work.
  • Proven ability to ship production code (Python/TypeScript or comparable).
  • LLM/agentic application experience strongly preferred.
  • Real fluency in sales process and domain knowledge.
  • Track record of defining and tracking success metrics for initiatives.
  • Experience driving adoption, not just deployment.
  • Comfort operating with high autonomy and ambiguity.
  • A bias toward governance and simplicity in tooling.

Responsibilities

  • Set the internal sales enablement AI roadmap, including a prioritization framework for building AI applications and tooling across the enablement lifecycle (certification, onboarding, content, coaching, ramp).
  • Decide which AI applications get built, which get sunset, and the rationale behind these decisions.
  • Build and standardize the GTM AI tooling stack by writing, reviewing, and shipping production code.
  • Develop AI tooling for GTM reps, leveraging strong coding skills and product sense.
  • Make strategic build-vs-buy decisions for enablement capabilities, evaluating third-party vendors against Brex's internal AI stack.
  • Develop a clear framework for determining when to buy a point solution versus when to build in-house.
  • Gain deep understanding of the sales domain, including the sales process, pipeline stages, seller CRM workflows, quota mechanics, and what constitutes effective performance on calls.
  • Identify opportunities where AI can create real leverage in enablement.
  • Drive adoption of AI tools and applications among sales teams.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Revenue Operations, Product, and Engineering teams.
