Requirements

  • Regional management experience in the fuel convenience store or QSR industries.
  • Strong ability to analyze business objectives, costs, forecasts, and market trends.
  • Proven track record in leading business growth and adapting corporate strategies.
  • Influencing and leadership skills to build partnerships with operators, merchants, category advisors, vendors, and business partners.
  • Experience in developing and implementing business strategies and plans.
  • Expertise in preparing and analyzing financial reports, budgeting, and determining pricing strategies.
  • Ability to drive the execution of business plans and projects, remove barriers, and measure progress.
  • Willingness to travel: Up to 50% travel within a designated region.
  • 5 years supervisory experience with Profit & Loss responsibilities OR 5 years experience in retail leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain existing and develop new vendor relationships at a professional level, requiring field-level interaction.
  • Establish and provide overall fuel convenience store direction by analyzing business objectives and customer needs.
  • Develop, communicate, build support for, and implement fuel business strategies, plans, and practices.
  • Analyze costs and forecasts, incorporating them into long-term and day-to-day business plans.
  • Determine and support resource requirements, evaluate operational processes, measure outcomes, and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Lead business growth by assessing economic trends, changing demographics, and competitive market share.
  • Develop action plans to achieve sales and marketing goals and ensure the effectiveness of merchandising, inventory, signing, and pricing programs.
  • Guide and adapt the corporate fuel strategy within the assigned area according to local fuel business requirements.
  • Develop and leverage relationships with key stakeholders and lead company change efforts to maximize sales and market growth targets.
  • Implement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) by preparing, analyzing, and reconciling financial reports.
  • Create and administer capital and expense budgets, make recommendations on fuel pricing strategies, and ensure action plans for underperforming stores.
  • Drive the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs, developing business plans, removing performance barriers, providing resources, measuring progress, and developing contingency plans.
  • Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates by selecting, training, mentoring, assigning duties, building a team-based work environment, establishing performance expectations, and conducting regular evaluations.
  • Promote and support company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
  • Ensure business needs are met by evaluating the effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives.
  • Consult with stakeholders, solicit and apply suggestions for improvement, and participate in community outreach events.
