About The Position

The Senior Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis is a key leader in the Solutions & Services organization. This position is responsible for financial planning and analytical support for business partners and provides C-suite and senior management information through regular business performance reporting. The Senior Manager provides leadership, direction and management to the Solutions & Services FP&A team and owns the compilation and review of the financial plan and financial forecasts for the organization.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of Finance/Accounting experience with 3+ years of progressive leadership experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong knowledge of accounting and finance principles with the ability to apply them in business analysis.
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven track record of driving solutions.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing business needs, and meet deadlines.
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
Proven team leadership skills and ability to build productive cross-functional relationships.
Track record of identifying process and system improvements and leading successful implementations.
Successful history of developing and maintaining financial models.

Nice To Haves

Experience supporting technology and/or services-centric P&Ls, with expertise in project-based revenue recognition, cost management, and operational KPI analysis, preferred.
Workday Adaptive experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Thought leader for FP&A team and business segments and channels, driving ad hoc accounting and finance projects.
Manage members of the FP&A team; providing leadership, guidance and development opportunities to increase skill set and overall business, system and interpersonal aptitude.
Ensures that planning and budgeting practices and procedures are appropriate and continually advance the analytical toolkit used by the team.
Own practice-level P&Ls, including reconciliation of delivery and project data from operational systems to the financials, and help drive standardization across multiple system sources.
Partner with Services FP&A team to help build and maintain core services and solutions operating metrics – backlog, utilization, attach rate, project margin, etc. – with consistent definitions and targets across practices.
Translate financial results into forward looking insights for senior leadership: what moved, why and what to watch in the future.
Provide business operations support, including month-end transaction processing and other related administrative and operational responsibilities as needed.
