About The Position

Baringa is a global consulting firm seeking an ambitious and talented consulting Sr. Manager to join and support the growth of its financial services practice. The role focuses on key areas such as Data, Risk, Technology Strategy, and US-Based regulation within the financial services sector. This is an opportunity for entrepreneurially minded consultants to help grow a practice that offers a different experience for clients and employees. The Sr. Manager will work closely with financial services clients on challenging engagements, assist in building the US practice by developing client relationships and business development opportunities with senior leadership, and play a key role in team building through talent acquisition, mentoring, and developing junior team members.

Requirements

• 8+ years of consulting and/or industry experience in Financial Services Consulting.
• Experience working within the digital assets and technology functions of Financial Services and Banking and Markets organizations.
• Demonstrable experience of developing and executing bank-wide digital strategies.
• Understanding of different technologies and wider market digital ecosystem.
• Experience across one of the following domain areas: Retail, Commercial and Corporate banking product knowledge (propositions, channels, operations, and technologies), and/or Capital Markets product knowledge (across asset classes, trade lifecycle and booking systems/models).

Responsibilities

• Leading, shaping, and delivering large-scale technology and digital transformation programs, supporting clients on their transformation journeys.
• Maximizing business value for clients through the definition and delivery of effective digital assets, AI, technology, and data projects.
• Adapting to hybrid delivery models (e.g., waterfall and agile).
• Developing Baringa's thinking through industry horizon scanning and research.
• Helping to grow the business and Banking and Markets practice.
• Contributing to the ongoing evolution of Baringa’s global and local growth strategy.
• Actively engaging in acquisition of new team members and talent.
• Mentoring and advising less experienced team members.
