Senior Manager, Financial Change Order Do you have a passion for data analysis and process optimization? An individual who joins our team will be responsible for building and maintaining business rules and processes to ensure client change requests are financially assessed before implementation. The team’s primary goal is to ensure proper financial controls and improve CVS Caremark client level financial performance by placing proper controls around implementation of programs or changes to a client’s benefit or formulary design.

Requirements

7 + years professional experience in data analytics, finance, pricing or process improvement role or equivalent combination of professional experience and education
1+ year working with PBM data or PBM financial analysis.

Nice To Haves

Experience in Microsoft Excel-based analysis and SQL
Strong organizational, multi-tasking and critical thinking skill sets are required.
Ability to story tell the findings in clear, concise way when articulating the findings of the analysis to sales, underwriting and other stakeholders.
This is a Sales team and potential client facing role, strong communication skill is a must.
Prior experience or knowledge of PBM industry or pharmaceuticals is preferred.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage tight deadlines and competing priorities.
Prior experience designing, implementing, and optimizing new business processes.
Demonstrated experience using business analytics to problem solve data-driven questions.
Experience extracting, manipulating, and analyzing Big Data (databases containing multiple terabytes of data) and then using it to draw relevant conclusions.
Strong presentation and communication skills with experience presenting to various business groups.
Ability to interact with others in a collegial and professional manner and help foster teamwork and knowledge sharing to complete key tasks.

Responsibilities

Be responsible for evaluating potential financial impact of a plan design change using existing models or by working with internal partners for the coalition segment.
Lead a team of 3-4 direct reports.
Support the development of new tools user acceptance testing.
Support training of existing or new team members on processes.
Work collaboratively with other financial change order team members.
Access data via Excel and tools such as SQL/ SAS and use financial change order models to model projected rebate guarantee impact analysis.
Coordinate the efforts across company teams that can include Sales, Analytic Consulting Services, Clinical Operations, Underwriting, and other departments to ensure proper controls are in place to review changes to a client’s benefit design, formulary, or implementation of a product.
Provide consultative support to internal stakeholders on analysis including but not limited to sales, underwriting and underwriting analytics teams.
This role will be supporting the client specific analyses and discussions and provide consultative support on additional ad-hoc reporting and analysis.
This individual will be responsible on interacting with external stakeholders and clients directly and have the ability to articulate the results of the analysis in a clear, concise manner and meeting the expected deadlines of requested analysis for this client.
