About The Position

The Senior Manager, Finance will be responsible for providing input to the financial planning process through financial analysis and modeling, recommending future expense targets, and planning and analyzing business performance in partnership with cross-functional areas. This role drives the execution of business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs, developing and communicating plans, removing barriers, providing resources, measuring progress, and developing contingency plans. The Senior Manager will communicate with functional areas to understand variations, prepare results for presentation, and address financial questions. Additionally, this role involves supervising and developing associates, managing complex control structures to mitigate financial misstatement risk, and enhancing reporting transparency.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or the equivalent in Finance, Accounting, or a related field plus 2 years of experience in accounting, finance or related experience OR Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in Finance, Accounting, or a related field plus 4 years of experience in accounting, finance, or related experience.
  • Experience with Designing and using PowerBI/Tableau for analyzing financial data
  • Experience with Excel financial analysis
  • Experience Creating Hyperion/OneStream queries to extract data
  • Experience Creating expense or revenue forecasting tool based on trends, statistical methods, business knowledge, and input from business partners
  • Experience Designing a Budget tool utilizing CPM/EPM software
  • Experience Gathering Requirements for an Expense Analytics Tool to improve profitability
  • Experience creating expense targets with cross functional leadership
  • Experience Creating an expense tool to manage MTD expense using EPM/CPM software to improve efficiencies
  • Experience Working across departments to set goals to improve efficiencies, creating reporting to analyze financials and providing detailed reporting/insights to department heads
  • Experience Providing recommendations to operational leadership to improve efficiencies and influencing actions
  • Experience Developing PowerPoint presentations to clearly communicate financial performance
  • Experience Developing PowerPoint slides to communicate opportunities or answer ad hoc questions
  • Experience Communicating financial/operational performance using multiple KPIs
  • Experience Performing core financial processes (close process, AOP, LRP)
  • Experience Evaluating financial impacts (IRR, NPV, etc.) of actual/proposed investments
  • Experience Collaborating cross-functionally to develop business targets and plans
  • Experience Utilizing digital tools to improve processes
  • Experience Supporting transformation initiatives

  • Manages complex control structures to mitigate risk of financial misstatement by examining and monitoring at different stages.
  • Guides cross functional teams to develop new processes.
  • Ensures proper controls are present in new and existing financial functions.
  • Works to enhance reporting transparency of company financial systems.
