Caterpillar’s Customer Solutions Core Regions Division (CSCR) has an open position as Senior Manager Finance supporting the acceleration and scaling of our digital and technology-enabled solutions. This will role will provide direct support to the Vice President, Technology and the Vice President, Technology Product Management and their teams.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or Business and/or 5+ years equivalent experience
Knowledge of finance and accounting practices, financial analysis, and reporting; ability to apply finance knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material. Adapts financial analysis methods to support organizational goals.
Knowledge of business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations. Explains the organization's business model.
Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment. Makes sound business decisions on behalf of the group when faced with complex and contradictory alternatives.
Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

Responsibilities

Support on execution of new business models/new deals
Provide financial analysis on technology NPI
Monthly reporting across stakeholders
Target setting processes, including dealer targets
Strategic partner to technology leadership teams to accelerate digital and technology-enabled solutions
Collaborate with regional teams to scale solutions
Ad hoc project leadership
