Senior Manager, Finance Operations

Quality Technology Services•Duluth, MN

About The Position

The Senior Manager, Operations Finance provides portfolio-wide financial leadership, planning, analysis, and decision support for the Facilities Operations organization. Serving as a finance business partner to Facilities Operations leadership, the role supports forecasting, budgeting, monthly reporting, performance analysis, and long-range planning across the QTS operating portfolio. The position focuses on enterprise- and portfolio-level operating performance rather than ownership of individual assets. It connects operational activity, staffing, maintenance, utilities, vendor programs, and other cost drivers to financial outcomes, improves forecast accuracy and transparency, and provides recommendations to support operating and investment decisions. The role prepares management reporting, analyzes actual performance against budgets and forecasts, develops portfolio-level dashboards and KPIs, and assesses operating-cost trends. It also builds business cases and scenario analyses for operational initiatives, vendor programs, organizational investments, and cost-efficiency opportunities; supports contract and sourcing decisions; and provides financial insights for operating-model, resource-prioritization, and portfolio-growth decisions. The Senior Manager standardizes budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and variance-analysis processes; partners with Accounting to align management reporting with recorded results; develops governance and documentation standards; and identifies opportunities to automate analysis and reporting. The position leads cross-functional work through influence, builds relationships across a geographically distributed portfolio, develops scalable processes and tools, and may coach analysts or other team members assigned to Operations Finance initiatives. Other duties may be assigned.
