About The Position

The Enterprise Strategy team stewards the development of CVS Health’s long-term strategy and priorities, connects business units to those priorities, explores new growth opportunities, and identifies ways to accelerate existing revenue streams. This role focuses particularly on Pharmacy Services and supports new growth initiatives and execution of strategic priorities. As an individual contributor on a nimble team working on high-priority initiatives with executive leadership visibility, the Senior Manager partners with stakeholders across core businesses and helps address complex, cross-functional challenges using market insights and CVS Health expertise. The role suits someone who is intellectually curious, self-motivated, entrepreneurial, adaptable, and comfortable working in a demanding, rapidly evolving environment. It offers mentorship and development alongside experienced industry experts.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in a dynamic, fast-moving profession, such as management consulting, corporate development, financial analysis, public policy, product development, mergers and acquisitions, or a similar role.
• Expertise in storyboarding and logically framing presentations in written deliverables and live discussions.
• Executive presence, including the ability to actively listen, empathize, and communicate effectively.
• Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to simplify complex problems and concepts.
• Ability to work in a matrixed environment, manage competing priorities, handle concurrent projects, and prioritize effectively.
• Ability to manage up and influence internal and external partners, including people with more senior titles.
• BA/BS degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead qualitative and quantitative analyses, developing cohesive storylines and actionable recommendations to deliver value to customers, clients, and shareholders.
• Identify and develop new growth opportunities by scanning market developments, monitoring healthcare and consumer trends, and tracking innovation and potential disruptors.
• Synthesize insights and develop materials to support senior executive decision-making within CVS Health business units and across the Enterprise.
• Support business-unit leadership process management, including goals tracking and agenda development for executive leadership forums.
• Conduct research and competitive intelligence using internal and external sources to inform strategic recommendations.
• Collaborate across the Enterprise Strategy team and with business partners across CVS, building relationships and partnering with Finance and Operations stakeholders to translate strategy into execution.
