About The Position

The Senior Manager, Enterprise Strategy supports strategic and cross-functional initiatives that are critical to the CEO and senior management. The role combines enterprise strategy, corporate planning, quantitative and qualitative analysis, executive communication, and project management to advance MSIG USA’s mid- to long-term growth priorities. Working across underwriting, claims, finance, legal, technology, operations, HR, and other functions, the position translates executive priorities into actionable plans, leads initiatives from strategy through implementation, and helps maintain alignment with the international head office. It is suited to a hands-on, consultative professional who can work across strategic thinking and detailed execution in a fast-paced, cross-functional, cross-cultural environment. The role initiates and executes growth strategy initiatives, including geographic expansion, business-line strategy, and capability building. It partners with senior leaders to develop workplans and measurable outcomes; conducts market, industry, competitor, financial, and operational research; and develops analyses, business cases, and recommendations for executive decision-making. It also monitors progress and raises risks, dependencies, and decisions requiring executive attention. The position leads complex, time-bound projects, often managing multiple projects concurrently. It establishes scope, governance, workstreams, timelines, accountabilities, and status reporting; coordinates stakeholders; drives accountability without formal authority; resolves obstacles; and supports analysis, coordination, documentation, budget oversight where applicable, and execution. The Senior Manager prepares executive-ready materials for management meetings, Board discussions, and CEO priorities, including presentations, decision memos, briefings, dashboards, and recommendations. The position coordinates and verifies stakeholder input, supports meeting preparation and follow-up, and records decisions, owners, next steps, and deadlines. It builds relationships across MSIG USA and with international stakeholders, facilitates cross-cultural alignment, and handles sensitive information with discretion. The position is based in the New York office, with domestic or international travel of less than 10% as business needs require. Occasional work outside normal business hours may be necessary for time-sensitive priorities.
