About The Position

L3Harris Corporation is seeking an experienced Systems Integration & Test Sr. Manager to join its team in Melbourne/Palm Bay, Florida. The role offers the opportunity to address complex challenges and contribute to mission-critical systems that safeguard the United States and its allies. The position is part of a collaborative team of engineering professionals.

The role leads multidisciplinary engineering teams and supports integration and verification of complex systems across multiple customers. It involves coordinating with customers and engineering teams, analyzing requirements and risks, and ensuring products meet technical and performance criteria. The schedule is a 9/80 arrangement: employees work 9 of every 14 days, totaling 80 hours, with every other Friday off.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 12 years of prior related experience; or a graduate degree and at least 10 years of prior related experience; or, in lieu of a degree, at least 16 years of prior related experience.
• Ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Earned Value Management and/or Cost Account Management experience.
• Basis of Estimate writing and proposal experience.
• Experience integrating complex systems across multiple customers.
• Ability to write and analyze test procedures and to read and develop engineering drawings.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in a technical information environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary team of systems integration, test, mechanical, electrical, software, specialty, and design engineers.
• Support Earned Value Management and/or Cost Account Management activities.
• Write Bases of Estimate and support proposal activities.
• Integrate complex systems spanning multiple customers.
• Write and analyze test procedures.
• Read and develop engineering drawings.
• Facilitate and support working group meetings with customers and the engineering team responsible for end products.
• Collaborate with the L3Harris engineering team to analyze requirements, identify potential gaps, and propose solutions.
• Develop and execute verification plans to ensure compliance with technical and performance criteria.
• Work with the technical team to identify, mitigate, and close program risks.
• Communicate technical information effectively in writing and verbally, and anticipate and respond to customer needs.
