The Sr. Manager, Digital Distribution Strategy & Operations role is responsible for scaling PBS’s distribution strategy across YouTube, streaming platforms, and emerging digital ecosystems (including short-form, social, and live environments), to ensuring PBS content reaches audiences wherever they are. This role will lead operationalization of platform-specific content strategies that maximize the value of PBS’s content library, drive audience growth, and strengthen station value across digital platforms. This includes expanding reach with diverse audience sets and driving measurable growth across key performance metrics (e.g., watch time, subscriber growth, and engagement). This is a unique opportunity to shape how one of America’s most trusted media brands evolves its presence on YouTube, streaming platforms, and emerging distribution ecosystems. The Senior Manager will play a critical role in expanding access to trusted, educational, and culturally impactful storytelling for new and diverse audiences. By innovating across content formats, including long-form, short-form, live and archive-based programming, this role will help unlock new audience growth opportunities while advancing PBS’s public service mission in a rapidly changing media landscape.
