About The Position

Visa is seeking a Senior Manager, Data Science & Analytics for its Global Marketing Services organization to build and own the data and intelligence layer for Marketing Services’ AI solutions and agents. The role combines analytics, data science, and AI data readiness: it turns VisaNet transaction data, client profile data, and market context into ranked, actionable growth opportunities. The position is part of the AI Transformation team and reports to the Senior Director, AI Transformation, Global Marketing Services. The Senior Manager will assess and prepare data assets for AI consumption, develop analytical frameworks and predictive models for opportunity detection and sizing, and own the scoring framework that ranks recommendations for business development teams. This includes assessing data readiness across multiple sources, identifying data gaps and quality issues, defining data preparation and enrichment, and building models and structures that convert data into useful intelligence. The role partners with Visa Consulting & Analytics, Global Insights & Analytics, Marketing Services regional teams, Visa Technology, and Finance, Legal, Privacy, Risk, and Compliance. It requires translating analytical findings and model outputs into clear business recommendations, and working effectively with fragmented data in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. The position is based in Visa’s San Francisco Mission Rock office and is hybrid, with employees expected to work in the office two to three set days per week; the general guidepost is 50% or more of working time in the office based on business needs. Travel is required 5–10% of the time. The role is performed in an office setting and involves sitting and standing at a desk, communicating in person and by telephone, and frequently operating standard office equipment. Work hours vary according to department needs. No visa sponsorship or relocation assistance is provided. For US applicants, the estimated annual salary range is $154,000 to $247,000, potentially including sales incentive payments where applicable. The position may also be eligible for bonus and equity. Eligible benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and a Wellness Program.
