Engineering Program Manager, Services Data Science & Analytics
About The Position
The Services Data Science & Analytics organization develops insights and machine learning solutions to improve Apple Services and accelerate growth while maintaining a strong dedication to customer privacy. The Engineering Program Manager will manage a portfolio of analytics projects and drive delivery of technical, data science, and engineering projects across a complex organization. The role involves developing processes, tracking schedules and status, building plans, setting expectations, removing roadblocks, and cultivating relationships across teams ranging from engineering to leadership. A strong commitment to privacy, seasoned program management skills, and a belief in data-driven results are essential.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on program management experience, specifically with initiatives involving analytics, Big Data, data governance, AI, and/or data engineering.
- Deep expertise in data science and analytics workflows and/or data engineering concepts.
- Excellent organizational skills, acute attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-changing environment.
- Demonstrated excellent communication, strong facilitation and presentation skills, and an ability to foster positive relationships.
- Proficiency with project management, code management, and AI tools such as GitHub, JIRA, Zenhub, Asana, Wrike, Keynote, Claude, ChatGPT, or equivalents.
- Proven ability to operate with natural accountability, self-motivation, curiosity, flexibility, and a dedicated problem-solving mindset.
- Strong commitment to privacy.
Nice To Haves
- BS in Information Systems, Data Science, Computer Science, Business, or Engineering, or relevant and equivalent industry experience.
- Data analytics experience with business acumen and data comprehension.
- Familiarity with data governance, data privacy, licensing, or responsible AI principles.
